An infrared sauna (IR sauna) warms your body with infrared light. The air stays cooler than in a normal sauna, so it feels gentler. Most places with an infrared sauna are in the city.
At HEAT by Sophia Lie in NK Parkaden you book a session of 30 or 45 minutes, and there is an ice bath too. Recovery Room at Stadion is a private room with an infrared sauna that you book alone or with friends. In Solna, Nordic Salt & Steam is a private relax room with a steam room and an infrared corner. At Vana Spa Saltsjöqvarn in Nacka, an infrared sauna is part of the spa ticket.
